The Disorientation

Getting back into the groove of things

So my last post was about me failing the hell out of the 52 book challenge. I've written plenty about my on-and-off (and on-and-off) again trouble with reading.

Well, recently, I've gotten back into it. Yesterday I read about 60 pages. This is after reading pretty much nothing for about a month. A small, but very welcomed, step.

I genuinely enjoy reading, but sometimes I just lose all interest.

The book is about 300 pages long so I'm hoping to finish it by this Sunday. The subject matter is really interesting, too. I'm sure that'll make things easier.

I'm currently reading The Hunt for Zero Point by Nick Cook. It's about the author's investigation and exploration of anti-gravity technology and government projects and programs.

In any case, I'm hoping to get back into the groove of things. It pains me on some mental or emotional level to see my books gathering dust.
