It's incredibly annying because it's a fairly cmmn key. And I'm als smene wh writes / types a lt, s I'm cnstantly at my keybard.
I dn't knw what the prblem is with it. It's a laptp keybard s it's nt like I can just replace the keybard r a singular key. I remember remving the cap, because it felt kind f wnky, cleaning the spt, putting it back, and then all f the sudden it gt all messed up.
It des tw things in particular. ne: it flat ut desn't wrk. N matter hw much I press dwn. And tw: it all f the sudden wrks, but it types ut frever and ever until I press the backspace, then it stps. As if sme invisible finger is pressing dwn n it. And it des this randmly. It gt s bad that I had t install a keybard manager and disable the key.
The wrkarund I'm ding fr typing the letter istelf, and it's nt remtely pretty, is t just cpy and paste the "o" key (just did it). I legit have t ggle a wrd with that letter and cpy and paste it. It sucks. I'm nt exactly tech savy with cmputers, and definitely nt laptps, but that's the best slutin (ww that's an interesting wrd withut "o": solution) I've gt a the mment (utside f buying a new laptp, which I can't d b/c I'm brke).
Attaching a wireless / wired keybard desn't wrk, either. Because the same prblem (that annying frever invisible finger typing thing) still persists. S it's like a game at times. I'd re-enable the key, start typing, and hpe it desn't glitch ut. And when it des, I have t quickly remember t press the backspace key. And it nly wrks n the laptp key itself, nt the wireless / wired keybard, if that makes sense. I have t cnstantly g back and frth between the tw.
h well. I guess I just have t deal with it. Aplgies if this was annying t read. It's als annying fr me.
