Writing is hard
And it doesn't help that I kind of suck at it.
I recently started writing a fiction project for school and have been making steady progress with it... but dang is it hard.
I spent a lot of time drafting an outline and doing copious amounts of worldbuilding, so I've got a good idea of what I want and where it's heading.
However, I forgot just how challenging the act of writing actually is. I think the worst part of it is the fact that what I envision in my head isn't usually what ends up on paper, you know?
Like, I've got these cool ideas--cool to me, at least--and then on paper they might as well suck and are devoid of life.
It's kind of disheartening. But I've gotta power through these feelings, because this is my final project for school. Can't fudge it up.
Anyway, small rant. No real life altering epiphany or sharp analysis or anything. Sorry.
